Museum Kranenburgh is open from Tuesday to Sunday, between 10:30 and 17:00.

Buying tickets

At Museum Kranenburgh, you can buy tickets at the box office, but you can also purchase your tickets online. When you have purchased your ticket online, you have both your ticket and your museum card, if any, scanned at the cash register.

Closed: Mondays, 1 January,  27 April (King’s Day), 25 December (Christmas Day)

Additional opening hours: 26 december (Boxing Day), Easter Monday, Ascension Day and Pentecost Monday
Different opening hours: 24 december 10:30 - 16:00 (Christmas Eve), 31 december 10:30 - 16:00 (New Year's Eve)

Parking at Museum Kranenburgh is limited. Other parking options are available nearby (paid parking). Please use these other parking options during extra activities at the museum. 

Public Transportation
Museum Kranenburgh is easily accessible by public transportation.
From the Alkmaar Train Station, take bus line no. 166 in the direction of Bergen, bus stop ‘Plein’. You can also rent a bicycle at the train station.

Parking for the disabled
Two disabled parking spaces are located directly adjacent to the museum entrance. Please call for assistance T 072 2015000.

Museum Kranenburgh is easily accessible for wheelchairs, rollators and mobility scooters. There are two wheelchairs in the museum that can be borrowed. Reservations can be made via T 072 2015000.

Free admission for accompanying person
